Owned and operated by Drs. Nancy and Steve Pope, KARIQ Arabians has been breeding and training Arabian and half-Arabian sporthorses since 1986. Our breeding program is based on horses who have been carefully selected for dressage-type movement and ability, good temperament, and trainability.

Dr. Nancy Pope is a USEF "r" dressage judge, a USDF bronze medalist, and a Ph.D. in Animal Science. Nancy trains and shows her own dressage horses and offers professional training, instruction and clinics.

Dr. Steve Pope, who holds a doctorate in Ceramic Engineering, is involved in all aspects of the breeding business, and trains and shows his own dressage horses as an amateur.

Kariq Arabians is located in Roebuck, SC, between Greenville and Spartanburg, about 3 hours from Atlanta and 1.5 hours from Charlotte. The farm is minutes from both I-85 and I-26.
