KARIQ
LEOFA HARMA 1980 Black bay purebred Arabian mare. The "Grande Dame" of Kariq Arabians, Harma was Nancy's first horse and first dressage mount. She was successfully shown through 4th level and learned the movements of high school dressage, including piaffe, passage, levade, Spanish walk and tempi flying changes. Harma is now retired, but still teaches beginners to ride and enjoys the occasional trail ride. |

Carrera Anglo-Trakehner mare. Broodmare extraordinaire. Carrera was a successful open jumper before coming to KARIQ ARABIANS in 1987 to begin a career as a broodmare. We wanted to experiment with the Arab-Warmblood cross, hoping to produce the ultimate arab x sporthorse. Our Istari x Carrera crosses have been all we could have hoped for and more! Both Guery and Kirzet below are representative of the horses this cross has produced. |

KIRZET 1999 Bay, Arab x Anglo-Trakehner gelding. A Champion sporthorse-in-hand at his very first show, Kirzet is one of the finest Arab warmblood crosses we have ever seen. Kirzet is named after one of Nancy's most beloved and successful dressage horses, MR Tezrik who many may remember. Kirzet is currently beginning under saddle training. We expect great things from this outstanding gelding! |
